The Silent Fall

existence without audience

In a forest where nobody sees, A tree falls in silence...
No ears to catch the final scream...
But does that make the existence of that fall invalid?

No. That no one is there to hear its cry does not make it invalid.
Its internal anguish still screams with its crying soul,
its dying heart, its losing spirit...

So too, we fall where no one may know,
And still within, our sorrow grows.
Not every fall needs to be heard. Some truths exist without validation,

But the thing which hurts the most is the labeling—
The label that makes a unique tree into just a Generic one...

Maybe the motive isn’t to be heard, but to be felt;
To be comforted,
to be loved,
to be fought for.
